Need Help

I’m looking for a Captain Swan fic. It’s a Princess Diaries 2 au. I don’t believe there was a fic before it to follow the first movie just the second.

I remember reading the first chapter and it followed the same as the movie Emma narrating previous events (her finding out she’s a princess and blah blah blah) that leads to her birthday ball.

I specifically remember Roland running up to wish Emma a happy birthday and saying his Papa told him Emma had to dance with all the eligible bachelors (butchering the words) and saying that’s him. Emma dances with a bunch of people before dancing with Killian and Roland cuts in and Emma is like “why that one I liked that one” and Roland says something like “because he’s competition.”

I think Zelena was Killians Aunt and Elsa was Emma’s Princess friend and Ruby was her friend from highschool. But I’m not entirely sure.

Someone else had to of read this. I didn’t make this up.

It’s “I’m sorry” in sign. Two of my old chefs used to do it. If they were angry, fighting on the line, it helped. It was like their version of “let’s talk about this later”. Didn’t matter if one tore the other one apart, it always got them through service.

I want to share some wisdom from my high school art teacher.

In my AP Art class, there was a girl who was just starting to experiment with mixed media. At this point she was still playing around, trying to decide what direction she wanted to go with her portfolio. So one critique day, she brought in an abstract canvas with some rhinestone highlights and painted and real peacock feathers. She loved sparkles and peacock feathers so she thought she’d try introducing them a *little*. And after everyone had given some input, the teacher gave her his advice, VERY roughly paraphrased here:

“So here’s the thing… I do not like this style. These are just elements that do not speak to me personally, but I see that you like them, and you’re doing interesting things with them.

“My biggest critique is, I only merely *dislike* this piece. I want you to make me HATE it. Go crazy with the things that you like. Don’t hold back trying to make it palatable to people like me. Because I am NEVER going to like it. And if the audience does not like it, it should drive them crazy seeing how much YOU love it.”

Her portfolio was chock full of neon colors and glitter and rhinestones and splashes of peacock feathers and it was a delight. Our teacher despised every piece lol, but she got great marks and I think even won some awards. And more importantly, she was happy and proud of the results. Because she didn’t limit herself by trying to appeal to people who were never going to enjoy what she enjoyed.

Takeaway here: be as cringe as you want. Don’t limit yourself based on other ppl’s tastes. They’re not you, and you are incredible 💕

• Lilith and Amity reignited their master-student relationship after Lilith got a bit jealous of Eda and Luz.
• Amity is an Indiana Jones-style adventurer, looking for artifacts for Lilith to learn the Isles’ true history instead of the one Belos taught.
• Luz would try to go to The Owl House as often as she could. Mostly after school and weekends. Got kinda awkward when Amity would try to go see her at the same time.

• Edric is the “lowest ranking member” of the Bad Girl Coven. It just means King can boss him around. Ed’s okay with it (mostly).
